OpenUP with Arpi Karapetyan | Episode #6 | Samvel Martirosyan

I am sharing here the year-end video with Liana Markosyan with the hope that it will inspire you as much as it inspired me. 2024 opened a new chapter in my life, one filled not only with achievements but also with a strengthened belief that every initiative can turn into a great success when you are truly invested with your heart and soul. “The small book on the big lessons of life, or How we all come from childhood” book presentation, Yerevan

The presentation of my book, “The small book on the big lessons of life, or How we all come from childhood”, took place. I wrote this book in airports – no exaggeration! It started as professional literature but gradually transformed into a collection of short stories about the lessons from my childhood. And you know what? I like it. Because when choosing between sounding smart and being interesting, I always prefer the latter.

How to identify a teenager’s strengths and weaknesses through self-awareness

In one of the episodes of “Other News,” Sergey Tantushyan and I, trainers and co-authors of the “zoom in!” career orientation program, shared our thoughts on helping teens build decision-making skills.
The program aims to support teens and youth in discovering their strengths and weaknesses through self-awareness, with a focus on nurturing what they are naturally good at.
We also discussed some of the cultural aspects that influence career choices, such as national mindset, family traditions, and more.

Summing up 2024

While analyzing 2024, one word comes to mind: people, people, and again people… This year was about the real soul-to-soul connections, shared energy, and the unique moments of life.
I recall every team I worked with, every coaching session that touched the right strings, every flight to a new culture, and the deep moments with myself that became the foundation of new projects—like the OpenUP program and CIRQLE. Writing my next book, Small Book on Big Life Lessons, has been another motivational step, reminding me that learning never ends. Will be published soon. One wish for us for 2025: peace and harmony with ourselves and others—the rest is in our hands.
And as Johnnie Walker slogan says… 🚶 keep walking!!! Together we move forward…
With love and Happy New Year,

About loyalty

Loyalty begins with… Yesterday, a client asked me what loyalty means to me. It got me reflecting, and here’s what I shared to him: Loyalty starts with yourself. It means staying true to my core values and principles—the things that make me me. Without this, all other forms of loyalty are misleading. Loyalty to your profession –
I believe in doing only the work I trust and stand behind. This is how I keep credibility, both with myself and those I partner with.

HR Week 2024 Conference, online

Enjoyed this panel. The Human-Centric Leadership was in the center of discussion. Thoughtful minds of my collogues led to the new insights.
What is the Human-Centric Leadership in abnormal times. Being real, listening your voice and building trust. Finding a balance in unbalanced reality of business. Partnering instead of parenting….
