At OSHRM 2025, I had the honor of opening the panel “The Inclusion Revolution: Powered by Technology.” In my speech, I invited the audience to reflect on simple but essential questions: Do people do their best work when they feel trusted? Shouldn’t everyone have a voice – not just the loudest ones? And isn’t technology meant to support, not replace us? These reflections led me to share a deeply personal belief: that hospitality is the purest form of inclusion. It is about how we welcome others, how we make them feel safe, seen, and heard.
Coming from Armenia – a culture where hospitality is a way of life – I felt a strong connection in Oman. But I asked the audience to consider: Do we bring that same mindset into our workplaces? Do we offer a real seat at the table, or only let people stand at the edges? In this video, you will see how I framed these thoughts to open a powerful conversation about inclusion, technology, psychological safety, and leadership—one that I hope continues well beyond the conference walls.
